1. The service

Rounds Med App is a web application that helps medical school applicants track applications, secondary essay prompts and drafts, deadlines, notes, and analytics. Paid plans and one-time purchases unlock additional features such as expanded analytics. Rounds Med App is a planning tool only — it does not submit applications on your behalf and is not affiliated with AMCAS, AACOMAS, TMDSAS, ERAS, the AAMC, or any medical school.

School data and accuracy. Information about schools, programs, deadlines, MCAT ranges, GPA ranges, application fees, letter-of-recommendation requirements, admissions exam policies, and other program details is collected to the best of our ability from public sources and is provided for planning purposes only. We do not guarantee that this information is complete, accurate, current, or error-free. You are responsible for verifying all school data directly with the school, its official website, or the relevant application service before you act on it. Rounds Med App is not responsible for the submission of your applications, missed deadlines, or any outcomes related to your medical school or residency application process.

2. Eligibility and your account

Rounds Med App is not intended for children. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and if you are under 18 you may only use Rounds Med App with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13; if we learn we have, we delete it. You must also be of legal age to form a binding contract, or have that permission from a parent or guardian.

If you use Rounds Med App on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account, and you agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse Rounds Med App. In particular, you must not:

• use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose;
• send spam, harass other members, or post abusive or misleading content in the chat room;
• infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
• interfere with the security or integrity of the service, including introducing malware, probing or scanning our systems, bypassing rate limits, or scraping data; or
• reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service or circumvent technical limits.

You are responsible for the content you enter, including essays, notes and chat messages. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide the service to you. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. By posting in the applicant chat room you agree not to post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable. Every post can be reported from the post itself, and every member can block another member so they no longer see that person's posts. We review reports and remove offending content and eject the users who posted it within 24 hours of a report.

4. Intellectual property

We retain all ownership of Rounds Med App and its intellectual property, including the software, design, branding, documentation and curated prompt database. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the plan you have selected. You keep ownership of the essays, notes and other content you create.

5. Payments, subscriptions and taxes

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, currency, tax, renewal, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically for the interval you selected until cancelled, and one-time cycle purchases apply to a single application cycle. Where a plan includes a free trial, the trial length is shown at checkout and the subscription begins billing automatically at the end of it unless you cancel first. 5a. Google account integrations

Connecting Google Calendar or Gmail is optional. Rounds Med App's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use Google data only to create and update the calendar reminders and secondary-application suggestions you ask for; we do not sell it, use it for advertising, use it to train generalised AI models, or let humans read it except with your consent, for security purposes, or where required by law. You can revoke access at any time in Rounds Med App settings or in your Google account permissions.

5b. No AI training on your content

You keep ownership of everything you write in Rounds Med App. We do not use your essays, notes, brainstorms, checklists, recommender information, school data or chat posts to train, fine-tune or evaluate any artificial intelligence or machine-learning model, and we do not provide that content to any third party for those purposes. Any future AI feature will be optional, clearly labelled and off by default, and will process only the content you choose to submit to it for that request.

6. Service availability

We work to keep Rounds Med App reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change, and maintenance or third-party outages may affect availability. Rounds Med App does not replace your own record-keeping — please keep independent copies of critical deadlines and essays (you can export your data at any time).

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using Rounds Med App and delete your account at any time. On termination you lose access to the service; you can export your data before you leave, and remaining data is deleted or anonymised as described in our Privacy Notice.

8. No advice, warranties and liability

Match scores, competitiveness bands and prompt data in Rounds Med App are estimates for general planning purposes only. They are not admissions advice or a prediction of any outcome, and you remain responsible for your own application decisions and deadlines.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including lost opportunities, missed deadlines, lost data or lost profits. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

9. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah and the federal laws of the United States that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the state and federal courts located in Utah have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
